BAYI ditemukan mati dalam sebuah tandas sebuah warung Tanjung Asam, Teluk Kumbar, Pulau Pinang pagi tadi.-UTUSAN ONLINE

PULAU PINANG 12 Feb. - Mayat seorang bayi lelaki dipercayai baru dilahirkan ditemukan dalam keadaan menyedihkan di dalam tandas sebuah warung di Pantai Tanjung Asam, Teluk Kumbar, di sini pukul 9.30 pagi tadi.


Bayi yang ditemukan itu masih cukup sifat serta mempunyai tali pusat dan uri.


Menurut Ketua Polis Daerah Barat Daya, Superintendan Anuar Omar, mayat bayi tersebut telah dihantar ke Hospital Balik Pulau.


“Pihak polis kini sedang menjalankan siasatan bagi mengenal pasti individu yang terlibat dalam kes ini,” katanya kepada pemberita di sini hari ini.

Malaysia listed in 32 most powerful economies in 2030

PARIS (AFP) - Women who work nights and do heavy lifting on the job may have fewer, and inferior, eggs than nine-to-fivers, said a study on infertility.

Previous research had shown a link between work conditions and fertility, but this was the first attempt to examine how shift work or manual labour might affect a woman’s physical capacity to have a baby, the authors said.

Mexico confirms first case of microcephaly from Zika

MEXICO CITY: Mexico has confirmed the first case of microcephaly linked to the Zika virus, the health ministry said on Friday.

The affected child, a girl, was born prematurely on Nov 5, 2016, and died at the moment of birth, the ministry said in a statement.

Between November 2015 and this January, 7,634 cases of Zika infection have been confirmed, the ministry added.

Februari 2017 : Minyak RON95 & RON97 naik 20sen!

KUALA LUMPUR: Harga runcit bagi petrol RON95 dan RON97 naik 20 sen bermula tengah malam ini.

Kadar baharu berkuat kuasa 1 Februari 2017 bagi RON95 adalah RM2.30 seliter berbanding RM2.10 sen seliter untuk Januari.

Harga RON97 adalah RM2.60  berbanding RM2.40 seliter untuk Januari, manakala harga diesel ialah RM2.15 seliter berbanding RM2.05 pada Januari.

Perkara itu disahkan Presiden Persatuan Pengusaha Stesen Minyak Malaysia (PDAM) Datuk Khairul Annuar Abdul Aziz.

Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan (KPDNKK) telah memilih untuk menetapkan harga petrol dan diesel pada sistem apungan terurus berikutan penyingkiran subsidi bahan api.
